Comment by The Flying Atheist on April 10, 2012 at 1:30pm The unusually warm March/April weather seems to have thawed out and exposed a rash of the crazies here on AtheistNexus lately.
Comment by The Flying Atheist on April 10, 2012 at 12:39pm Chantal, I found great pleasure from reading Dawkins' "The Ancestor's Tale." It's a mammoth book relating the story of human evolution by starting at our current point and proceeding backward in time through our common ancestors all the way back to the Big Bang. It's quite a journey!
Comment by Marc Draco on April 10, 2012 at 12:02pm Origin of Species is a must read - if only for the pleasure of understanding Darwin's foresight. Stephen J. Gould is another author worthy of study. Much as I admire and like Dawkins, he has become a stick to hit the idiots with - and that makes quoting him a potentially dangerous game.

Comment by Sarah Walton on April 10, 2012 at 11:20am So can we start talking about evolutionary science again? And I mean biology, not the wacked out way social scientists have adopted evolution.
Comment by Marc Draco on April 10, 2012 at 8:14am Google suggests that this is a legitimate name, guys. Remember that correlation != causation in every instance; we're mostly scientists here and that's a basic tenet.
Comment by Joseph P on April 10, 2012 at 6:31am Heh. Interesting observation on his name. I missed that.
Very well could be a theist raiding the site, yeah. We get them from time to time.
