Regaring fivethirty's Santa video - he's pretty much just repeating William Lane Craig's arguments from this video - "Is God Like Santa Clause?" (sic).
I don't think Craig's argument is that great either,  but he's getting applause from an appreciative audience.

Anyone fancy setting up a Secular school in the UK?

I guess this warrants a proper discussion - but much as I detest our government's Free School initiative - I think this might send it a message.

@G Smith

Just hit the Print Screen key.  It should be somewhere over near your number pad.  It varies from keyboard to keyboard.  That puts a copy of the screen in your clip board.  Then, you just have to go to a graphic utility of some sort (even Windows Paint will work) and paste it in.

@Ezra David Rose

  "...the First Amendment is more sacred than any religion..."

 The problem is, though, that if you are REALLY religious, NOTHING can be more sacred than your religion by definition.

@TrekJunky

  Well we don't necessarily need atheists in congress and in the White House. We just need honest people who believe and understand that the First Amendment is more sacred than any religion. People who believe and understand that the wellbeing of the country as a whole is more important than personal gain. The ultimate problem is greed and dishonesty. The only difference between an atheist candidate and a religious candidate in the context of politics is that an atheist candidate will not be able to rely on the "idiot vote". It will make no difference as to whether the person may be honest or not. This is a war of classism, and the upper class is largely getting their way by playing the religion card - just one big f#cking money hording game.

re: chad/fivethirty

Commenting on YouTube as Doctor of Disbelief (www.doctorofdisbelief.com) (http://www.youtube.com/user/DoctorOfDisbelief), I sent a message to chad following his deletion of two/three of my comments on his God/Santa Claus video. The private message is below, as is the screen-shot of the first comments made, prior to his deletion.  He may be too much of a waste of time, but if he stands up, actually debates, I may take the time (I have it) to capture his videos and critique them. Naturally, sending copies to him.

Opinions? Input?
