We debate origins of the Universe, life, Earth, humans, religion, atheism, using common sense, evolution, cosmology, geology, archaeology, and other sciences, to repel biblical creationism and other religious beliefs.

I just watched this with my family. The premier episode featured Stephen Hawking and the question posed was "Is there a god?". <Spoiler alert> The program concluded with him saying, "There is no god." I wonder if others watched the show, and if so, what were your thoughts? I thoroughly enjoyed the question/answer session afterward, and felt that Sean Carroll did an excellent job.

The Discovery Channel is hosting a new program, Curiosity, that aims to provoke thought and discussion and ask the “fundamental questions facing the world today”. Their first episode (Sunday Aug. 7th, 8 p.m. ET/PT) will be a special with the eminent Stephen Hawking titled, “Is There a Creator?”

Comment by Tom Sarbeck on July 16, 2011 at 1:33am Who but religionists believe the universe started from nothing?
The people who insist that it started from nothing can, and have, produced long, mathematics-based explanations; they have not, and probably can not, produce evidence.
