Thank you! I visited The California Academy of Sciences on Saturday and spent a great deal of time in the African Hall studying their hominid skull replicas. Human evolution seems to be the science flavor of the week for me!

I think you all might find the archaeological work being done at Mossel Bay on the south eastern coast of South Africa interesting. They theorize that homo sapiens could have been reduced to numbers in the hundred if not tens of individuals. The research is quite compelling. Take a look at:

It is interesting that a staple food was mussels which are high in Omega 3 goodies and could have provided some turbo brain activity:-).
