Have we reached our limit?
How many people can Earth support?
How much potable water exists; enough for 7,000,000,000+ human beings?
How many fossil fuels can be easily available?
How fast can we drive or fly?
How much religion can we absorb before we dumb down the entire nation?
How much ignorance can the world absorb before killing Earth's living organisms?
How many chemicals can we use in agriculture before we kill the living organisms?
How long before the topsoil has blown or eroded away?
How big is too big?
How much money can we print before spending our way into global bankruptcy?
How much stuff is enough?
How many wars will USA taxpayers be willing to support?

How many fossil fuels can be easily available? Fossil Fuels are never 'easily available'.

How much religion can we absorb before we dumb down the entire nation? Much, MUCH more.
How much ignorance can the world absorb before killing Earth's living organisms? Much, MUCH more.
How many chemicals can we use in agriculture before we kill the living organisms? Much, MUCH more.
How long before the topsoil has blown or eroded away? I give it about ... 5-years.
How big is too big? It is never 'big enough'.
How much money can we print before spending our way into global bankruptcy? There are SO many trees in Siberia.
How much stuff is enough? Apple will NEVER stop making more useless crap. not ever. NEVER.
How many wars will USA taxpayers be willing to support? Probably ... like ... one-or-two per year. Actually ... Amerikan's LUVs them that brave-soldier-boy stuff so much. All war; all the time.

I strongly share your concern about the population explosion and the unbearable strain it is causing on life's resources. I have heard some scientists that science and technology can still create conditions that can support more population. Perhaps yes, perhaps no. As I see it, the competion for life is gettinger tougher and although humanity continues to live, humanism is dying. What needs to be saved is humanism, not humanity.
