They want to change history by removing Liberals like Jefferson and emphasizing the Mayflower Compact. The Mayflower Compact was exclusively for Christians and it was used to intimidate the other settlers. Let's read some of it, "In the name of God, Amen. We whose names are underwritten, the loyal subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord King James, by the Grace of God of Great Britain, France and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, etc. Having undertaken, for the Glory of God and advancement of the Christian Faith" -Wikipedia

StillwaterGuy: I agree with you about Kern. I think Randy Brogdon is one scary individual too. He's "all in" with the tea partiers, has pushed "academic freedom", etc.

I think we are headed for a real confrontation with these idiots. I'm sure Oklahoma's Sally Kerns is already on this. (see above link)

The Nones Have It According to a 2009 study the percentage of Americans claiming no religion, which jumped from 8.2 in 1990 to 14.2 in 2001, has now increased to 15 percent. Given the estimated growth of the American adult population since the last census from 207 million to 228 million, that reflects an additional 4.7 million "Nones." "Many people thought our 2001 finding was an anomaly," [Ariela] Keysar said. We now know it wasn't. The 'Nones' are the only group to have grown in every state of the Union."
