I'm looking for some contacts, and/or some people to meet to talk and/or do a fun activity. The thing is, I'm a lapsed Jew and until August 2010 I was afraid to talk to non-Jewish girls and as I grew up I was taught some rather socially conservative, prudish attitudes but I have thrown all that out the window except that I am 28 and I haven't yet really found a life outside of Judaism and I have never had any real girlfriend...

Libertarians are a tiny minority in Freethought Dayton, and not part of the core group. I oughta know, I'm one of 'em (the Freethought Dayton folks, not a Libertarian!) Recently moved to Cinci, and they're the only thing I miss. I drop in on them every once in a while, and wouldn't be driving 50 miles to hang out with Libertarians. Not sure I've met a Libertarian atheist who wasn't dogmatic. Give 'em another try!

I am still struggling to some degree but not near as much as I was. My husband and I have been listening/watching episodes of "The Atheist Experience" and it has helped us to realize we really are Atheists. We live North of Dayton.
