It seems as though an eighth grade science teacher in Mount Vernon, Ohio thought he could slip in intelligent design and creationism into his course curriculum. It further seems as though the local board of education took exception to such a practice and gave him his walking papers. Said teacher took his case to the Fifth Appellate District Court of Appeals.
