Hey there im from NE ohio looking for some atheist contacts. Currently in The Navy and getting out this winter and i would like to be more involved with atheism.

@The Secular One: I'm surprised you saw something pro-Libertarian on the Freethought Dayton site. Libertarians are a tiny minority in Freethought Dayton, and not part of the core group. I oughta know, I'm one of 'em (the Freethought Dayton folks, not a Libertarian!) Recently moved to Cinci, and they're the only thing I miss. I drop in on them every once in a while, and wouldn't be driving 50 miles to hang out with Libertarians. Not sure I've met a Libertarian atheist who wasn't dogmatic. Give 'em another try!

Hey Susan, I'm in Dayton.  Feel free to drop by Wright State University's Freethought WSU group.  There is also a Dayton Freethought group, but I haven't met up with them since I saw pro-Libertarian stuff on their website.

Hi, I'm Susan. I had joined Nexus last year and then left because I was still struggling with being an Atheist. I am still struggling to some degree but not near as much as I was. My husband and I have been listening/watching episodes of "The Atheist Experience" and it has helped us to realize we really are Atheists. We live North of Dayton.

Hello, fellow Ohioans.  I am in NE Ohio, the general youngstown area.  I attend grad school here, and am really looking to branch out and get more contacts with other atheists.

I have noticed that any zip code is accepted so there must be some way of filtering invalid or repeat votes out.  This may mean that you may have to clear out cookies between votes and/or reboot your computer.  Are there any computer geeks out there who can shed light on how possible this is?

The vote for Ohio stickers now has a sticker with "In God All Things Are Possible".  We need more votes.  Ohio zip codes run from 43001 to 43999.  VOTE OFTEN!!

For those of you in Columbus, OH in the Short North area, a few of us Atheists (heathens) are meeting up from 6:30PM-8PM tonight at Mojoe Lounge which is located at 600 N. High Street. We'll be discussing activist atheism and militant atheism (I think). I hope to see you there!
