The Man Who Wrote Lord of the Flies
[2010-07-13 13:00:00] What happens to writers who achieve astonishing fame largely on the success of a single book? We'll examine the life of one such novelist this hour with John Carey, Emeritus Merton Professor of English Literature at Oxford University and author of the new biography "William Golding: The Man Who Wrote Lord of the Flies" (Free Press, 2010).

I never heard of Think thanks for the recommendation.
Think is a local radio show. Dallas has a pretty big and important public radio/tv station, and this is one of their own programs. Lots of good stuff. If you go the the website, and then go to TV, you can probably find videos of this same TV program. She often covers a lot of the same topics. In fact, I'll try and see if I can find a video of this one later on.
Oh, I have already found the website. Here you go: http://www.kera.org/think
This also was the case with Harper Lee, author of the exquisite "To Kill a Mockingbird". "Mockingbird" was nearly the only novel she wrote. -- Gary
