Robert Jordan "Wheel of Time" fans?
I am guilty of only getting to book 7 of the series but I plan of re-reading and then reading them all but it is a LOT of a richly written world to get through.

I dunno. I gave up part way into book 4. The series just started dragging so badly, starting sometime in book 3, and I just couldn't deal with it anymore. I've heard from friends that it gets even slower and frustrating, later in the series. Not sure I'll be picking it back up.
