I'm not a writer but I'd be interested in reading such a book. Will you cite other people's experiences of 'recovering' from religion? Your proposal immediately reminded me of Julia Sweeney on 'Letting go of God'. There are quite a number of eye opening accounts on the Internet of individuals who weren't raised secular/atheist who have look back on their own religious past with repulsion and regret. Do you have a numbered steps outline to recovery or something like that in mind?

In NYC On Monday, January 31, 2011, a play about the early years of Robert Ingersoll will be presented as a reading by professional actors. In Richard Stockton’s work, SPEAK OF THE DEVIL, Robert Ingersoll has been immortalized by this entertaining, informative, and at times humorous, dramatic play.

The play, to be directed by the well-known Robert Kalfin* along with a cast of fine professional actors, will take place:

on January 31st 2011, at 8 PM.
at the Players Club**, 16 Gramercy Park,
which is 20th street, east of Park Avenue South.
No admission charge.
