A facebook group is a great idea. Maybe more people will find it.

Join our meet up group if you are interested in attending an event in NM. Even if you couldn't make one of our weekly meetings, you can contribute ideas/contributions on the discussions page. And generally network with other NM atheists. Go to meet up and find Los Alamos Community of Friendly Atheists! We/I'd love to get to know you and hear your ideas!

Comment by Jenn Rivera on November 30, 2011 at 10:05pm: If there was ever an event in NM, I'd definitely be there. I read about all these awesome events in other states, but I'm so busy with school/kids/work/whatever to get to one. Leaving town is hard.

I've seen info about the meetups in Albuquerque but I've never been to one. Does anyone here go to them?
