Oh, too bad about the salsa, but great that it was a good time anyway.

I've never been to anything with HSNM myself, but I think there may be some members of Atheists and Freethinkers of NM who may have, or who may have some suggest or recommendations of some kind.

I'm not certain, but I think Max may be able to tell you something about the Humanist Society.

Hi Scott - I believe the answer to your first question is 'yes', and wish I'd been able to attend the Salsa Festival.

How was the Salsa Festival? Tasty, I hope.

I heard (somewhere) about some watermelon salsa someone tried there and thought it was really good, so I made up a batch of my own version, and my husband and I really liked it.

Come and join one of the secular meetup groups we have here in ABQ. There is the Atheist & Freethinkers of New Mexico at http://atheists.meetup.com/75/ or the Secular Humanist at http://www.meetup.com/Secular-Humanists/. There are numerous monthly activities that I am sure you will enjoy and it will give you a chance to meet and talk to people that think and believe as you do.
