"Worried about the world ending on December 21, 2012? You won't be after you listen to Neil deGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist, host of StarTalk Radio and director of the Hayden Planetarium as he debunks the apocalypse as "a hoax, perpetrated by the scientifically illiterate on the scientifically under-informed." There's no hurry to watch this Cosmic Query with comic co-host Chuck Nice, though, because it will still be here on December 22... and 23rd... and 24th... In fact, since we're going to be around for quite some time, don't miss out on any StarTalk news. Sign up for our free newsletter: http://bit.ly/VppKWL"

A great way to create a new generation of astrophysicists.
Comment by Mriana on November 14, 2012 at 6:57pm My comp isn't quite as old, so the video on Verge worked well for me.
Comment by Idaho Spud on November 14, 2012 at 7:32am People with newer computers may have no trouble with Verge. My computer is 5.25 years old, and needs updated software, but no software is available for it.
Comment by Joan Denoo on November 14, 2012 at 1:37am Spud, thanks for the information about difficulty with Verge. Great piece on measurement.
Comment by Idaho Spud on November 13, 2012 at 5:57pm Neil deGrasse Tyson on Verge is another great 40 minutes with Tyson. Thanks.
I couldn't get the Verge video to run without stopping a lot, so I went to You-tube and they were much better there. I also found an extra bit where Neil talks about measurements. One of my favorite things!
