MTV - its the McDonald's of the music industry. Shrewd marketing and manipulation make it successfully sell itself as being hip, alternative and out there. It's not - it's a mindless corporation that's good at selling it's brand. Think Nike in headphones.

MTV.....empty....eMpTyVee..Felch, your deadly with a keyboard. My kids NEVER watch MTV. Like my daughter said "THey dont play music!"
I dont think that many kids watch it any more. But...I could be wrong.

OK. I am venting. My mother died two weeks ago. She was a “god fearing christian.” Before her death she refused all medical treatment. She wanted to be left alone. This probably should not have shocked me as much as it did (especially since I am in Texas). I actually thought my coworkers were playing a joke on me because they know I am an atheist. Sadly, this was no joke. This actually happened.
