Suzi Quatro was someone I discovered when I was about 23. She's just great. The Den Mother of Motorcycle Music.

I agree and hopefully one of the young'uns will do a thread on the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000 decades. I can get up to the 1970s no problem but after that it's touchy. Lol.

It would also be nice to have threads on the genres and their origins.

I'm old. That's the conclusion I've come to listening to today's music. For some reason I haven't found a new band during the past 5 or 10 years that I can actually say that I like as much as I like the old music I grew up with. I was hoping that I could tell you, Allegra, that I liked the Japanese band but I'm by nature brutally honest and I can't but that doesn't mean I didn't listen, of course I did. I was alsl hoping that I could tell you, Sydni, that I like Green Day or that I liked this song, but I don't. Yup, old.

I had a very permissive Dad and stopped cutting my hair when I was 13, right after the dreaded Bar Mitzvah. Yuk. But when I was 17 or so people called me names, older people, and stared at me in stores. I look at heavily pierced people today and I suppose I have the same feelings the people that ridiculed me had. I keep them to myself naturally and certainly feel that everyone has a right to poke as many holes in their appendages as they might like.

Here's a band that most people have never heard. I wish they had more music videos but they have only this one. There are other sites that allow one to post audio from iTunes. I wish this site had that capability. I'm going to see if I can post audio to the video section here and I'll let you know.

Peace
