Comment by Michael Lackey on March 9, 2012 at 5:05pm Dear Comrades, Just wanted to let you know that my new book, The Modernist God State: A Literary Study of the Nazis' Christian Reich, was released yesterday. In the book, I do two separate things. I debunk the traditional view that western culture has become increasingly more secular since the Enlightenment. I clarify how Christians have been able to develop more sophisticated ways to control the modern body politic. Second, I demonstrate that Hitler and the Nazis consistently referred to themselves as a Christian Party. I also define the specific version of Christianity that they adopted. Some of you might find the book worth reading. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
All Best,
michael
