Comment by Timothy S. on November 3, 2012 at 10:14pm Hello all. New to the Michigan group but joined the site awhile back, just didn't have the time to be as active on here as I wanted. I am in Flint, and always interested in talking/meeting new people.
Comment by Ruthe on November 25, 2011 at 10:08am @All & Keon, Several groups are coalesced in the Metro Detroit Area and are listed, with info and connect links, on Detroit Coalition of Reason’s website. There is a section in the Michigan
Secular Groups list for Southeast Michigan. The MSG
.pdf file is also available online thanks to being stored on Detroit Atheists Meetup ‘Files’
page.

Comment by Mike Baptista on October 10, 2011 at 8:55pm Hey Brian,
I need to rack my brain a little more for GR proper, but not too far away in Kalamazoo is a great restaurant called Food Dance. They have a little market in house, a bar, and sit-down dining. Also great in Kzoo is Bell's Brewery.
I worked for a Creamery in Ann Arbor that sold cheese and gelato to food dance so i went out several times to demo product and eat goodies.
GR isn't the most exciting foodie town but I'll keep thinking. But, the best peanut butter ever made comes from grand rapids - Koeze Cream-Nut. Grab a jar, a good loaf of bread and some local preserves and you'll never look at a PBJ the same.
