hey everyone i thought maybe it would be a good idea to have people share their experience going through college and maybe provide help to others who are just entering. for example how to look for scholarships and grants, i have a few search sites but i personally have no idea what to look for. please state which college you went to and your major ^_^

Hi Dustin!

I'm not quite sure what you are looking for. I'm a non-traditional student and attend a local university, along with one of my sons (the other has his BA and is now in law school) and have only used FAFSA for financial aid, as well as the scholarships I can apply for through the university. I know there are religious groups on campus, but have seen nothing regarding nontheist/agnostic/atheist groups, unfortunately. But being older and not living on campus, I am not aware if that type of group exists. I think I grabbed this site from a Facebook link and it may help you if you would like to search out or start a group where you are attending college http://www.secularstudents.org/stiefelfoundationgrant

I hope this helps and I hope some others will be able to offer more help to you :)
thanks, i wasn't looking for anything really just socializing, a lot of groups are just plain silent.
Hey, spell it right. It is Atheists. It does not follow the rule of i before e except after c.....
ya my bad i am use to the little red line under things when i misspell them. >./body>
