Without scientific training or scientific research skills, it can be quite difficult to know the difference between truthful and science and lying science. This table might help a bit:

Comment by Michael Caton on August 20, 2011 at 10:01pm Maybe we should encourage people to thank medical workers for their training and dedication. Then if they say "Jesus/Odin/etc. helped me do it" you can tell them that you give them more credit than they give themselves.
