If there is anyone out there who is a student or staff at Tulane University in New Orleans, they are trying to organize a skeptics group on campus. Experienced some of the "ranting`s" etc...of fervent believers on Facebook and was really desperate to breath the fresh air of reason and then I discovered this site !
Moving to Louisiana next month it is going to be interesting ! ; )

Do any of you have any interesting atheist/non-believer meetings coming up this fall? We try to let people on our lists know about events within in 3-5 driving hours of New Orleans, so if you have something "big" coming up, let me know.

Charlotte: you can add my group to the list: Lafayette Atheists and Freethinkers (http://www.lafatheists.org and http://meetup.lafatheists.org ). We meet once a week. Also, the SSA is still exploding with new groups, so you should add those.
