Yeah, it seems we're even less common in the southern part. Lafayette/Morgan City here.

Hi Donna. You are not alone. Statistically there are 15000 non-theists in our area realistically there are 60 in our local group, Ark La Tex Freethinkers. Here is a link to our Yahoo group where we post meetings and info. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ArkLaTexFreethinkers/
We also have a facebook group of the same name. Log in and keep in touch. The next meeting will be the 19th.

I've started a group called North Louisiana Nontheists. I hope it can serve as an organizing forum for nontheists from Alexandria to Monroe to Shreveport and, especially, all the small towns in between.
