For those of you who haven't heard of it, I wanted to bring your attention to the New Orleans Secular Humanist Association:

http://nosha.secularhumanism.net

I joined last year. I live in north Louisiana, so I've not been able to make it to any of the meetings, yet. I am on their emailing list and I get their newsletter, though. I also bought one of their t-shirts. I enjoy wearing it around my (very small) hometown.

The link does not seem to be working.
I just clicked the link and it worked for me. If it's still not working for you, try googling "New Orleans Secular Humanist Association."
Myself and my gf recently learned of NOSHA via her seeing their billboard near the Superdome and regular posters to NOSHA discussion group. I saw a link to this site in an article posted recently and we both joined this site today. Glad to see there is a local group here for Louisiana residents and a posting of NOSHA here. We have been to last month's meeting, and last week attended our second Free-Thinkers Happy Hour in New Orleans. It's great to learn of this group and to know we are not alone in our beliefs, well lack of, and to meet fellow atheists in this very religious city/area.
Charlotte (secretary and website) of NOSHA has now created a group here today.
