I'm moving to L.A. in January. Just trying to get to know people before I even move out there. There must be a lot of skeptic/atheist groups and meetings out there right?

I don't think LA is very active, from an organized perspective, because there's so much tolerance of disparate thought, it's not needed. I grew up in the Midwest, and have had business that takes me to the Bible Belt for weeks on end, for the last 3 years. It is oh, so necessary, to have a safe haven from all the Christian muck in those areas, but CA is just used to heathens, I guess, because I've never felt a need to seek out "my kind," around there. :-/

Anyone going to the Atheist convention in Burbank in October?

Don't forget to check out the FFRF billboard recently raised in Hollywood, on Fountain Ave, just West of Highland. It'll be up until the 31st of January....
