I recently became a fan of Pinker's when I read 'The Language Instinct.'
I like his delivery and his sense of humor which, to me, makes his work accessible.
Great stuff!

The Stuff of Thought was much better than The Language Instinct, in my opinion. It was better written and more engaging. Check it out. I want to read The Blank Slate, but alas, my reading list is quite long.
Here is the same speech, but in full, as presented at the RSA.

I also had to subscribe to RSA, on YouTube, to add to my 'get smarter' list.
Thanks!
