Hey everyone! I'm working through my ideas of anarchy. It seems there is a real need to re-infect social movements with anarchic critiques and this seemed like a great forum to help me work through these ideas.

The dividing line between "left" and "liberal" is not clear, but surely something is needed that is "left" of liberal. Off the cuff, I'd say there is a continuum, roughly put: liberal - progressive - left - radical - socialist - communist or anarchist. I find "progressive" as vague and milquetoasty as I do "liberal". Maybe the "wing" in "left wing" is too much for some to take, but "left" is still less "inflammatory" than stronger alternative designations.

Just a minor suggestion but I think this group could see more activity and stronger membership if it were made a little more inviting to liberals as opposed to be geared mainly (judging by the description) to socialism and related philosophies.

Great! A group of commie pinko, anarchists and leftys. Cool, I should feel right at home with you bunch. I have an old style Communist Party of Canada tattoo on one arm, and a spray-painted style Anarchist @ on a brick wall tattoo on the other. As well as a file with the CSIS, and probably the FBI. I was an activist for many years, and am a former member of the Communist Party of Canada (the CPSU one).
