Does anyone order food from online sites?
I want to order sunflower oil but I'm afraid of what I might get. There are other things I'd like to try, like avocadoes and peaches that you'd think are easy to come by but actually hard to find in good quality.
Anybody?

I've known people to order candies and stuff, but not really fresh produce. I think some citrus ships like that. I've heard of people getting sour oranges and such. I don't do it myself though, don't really have any recommendations.
I have never done that, as buying for just one doesn't make sense to do so, IMO. In Texas we have no problem getting good quality avocados. :)

You might be safe with sunflower oil, but I might be more skeptical with high quality items, such as extra virgin olive oil, as there is a greater probability of fraud (and fraudulent olive oil is a major problem, actually), because there is more financial incentive and pay off to crooks for scamming you (as opposed to fake or low-quality sunflower oil, or peanut butter, or white flour, etc).

I would also take under consideration the time of year you are ordering. Again, using your sunflower oil as an example, it's better to order now while the weather is cool, as opposed to ordering mid summer. The heat in transport would really damage the oil.
