Comment by Brian Sperger on February 10, 2012 at 6:26pm Hey everybody, I’ve just revised the old Ashland group page into an Eastern Kentucky page to try and get some networking started in my area. www.atheistnexus.org/group/east-kentucky-atheists
Check it out and show us some love. Also, we really need a creative logo so if anyone would like to create a one for ether this page or the Eastern page, let me know and I can get it posted.
Thanks

Comment by BrentH on November 14, 2011 at 2:33pm Hi Rebekah,
Congrats and welcome. I live in Lexington. There are a few atheist/secular humanist groups that meet regularly in Lexington if you are interested.
Comment by Rebekah Ramsey on November 14, 2011 at 8:19am Hi All. Newly Atheist....and lovin' it. I'd really like to chat with anyone in the Frankfort/Lexington Area.
Comment by Garaidh Mac an tSaoir on September 9, 2011 at 8:49pm With so much discouraging and disheartening news these days, it’s good to have the following story to share.
SOMERSET, KENTUCKY — Pulaski County has paid $231,662 to cover its share of costs in a legal battle the county lost over attempts to post copies of the Ten Commandments in the courthouse.

Comment by Mikel Hensley on August 2, 2011 at 6:54pm It is almost time for the Kentucky State Fair, and the second Kentucky Secular Society State Fair booth! A major theme of our booth is that atheists are normal, decent, good people, and than plenty of us live right here in Kentucky. We are currently looking for short statements from Kentuckians explaining why you are an atheist, freethinkers, humanist, etc (you get the idea) that we can hand out to visitors to our booth. Please keep it to 300 words or less, and specify if you would like your first or last name displayed, email, phone or anything like that. If you would like to be anonymous, that is fine too.
The fair starts on August 18, so please send your story to me as soon as possible if you would like it to be included!
