There is a group in Topeka, the Atheist Community of Topeka. I've met them at an apologist speaking event once, they were incredibly nice, don't know if any of them have kids. http://www.atheistcommunity.net/

In Lawrence, there is a group called SOMA, but I think the only place you can find them is on Facebook and they're more of a student group through KU.

Wichita meet-up Tuesday night. I had a good time last night, inspite of the hunger and slowness of that place we were at. I meet lots of nice people. I should have got of my butt and talked to more people, I was lazy. Nice to meet everyone.

Hello! My husband and I are moving to Kansas (DH starting a new job there) and I was hoping to be able to discuss how hard it will be, being an atheist living in the bible belt. I'm askeered! :-(
