Monsignor William Lynn was found guilty on Friday of one count of endangering the welfare of a child, making him the highest-ranking U.S. Roman Catholic official convicted in the church child sex abuse scandal.
Mind you, he was never charged with child rape, but in covering up for pederast priests who did rape children. His defense? He was following orders from his boss, Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua. Two problems with that. 1) Bevilacqua couldn't testify because he is dead, and 2) can you say Nuremberg?
