PodCastAwards Announcer Fail 2 Replies

I ripped this from the PodCastAwards feed. Even though we lost (probably lost big!), I consider Cochrane's complete failure to pronounce our name a small victory.

I thought we could talk about what we love/maybe not so love about the show. If this isn't the best place for this please go ahead and remove this topic. I found the show through a post on Pharang…

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cipher_in_the_Snow I had to look it up. That sounds wonderfully awful.

Do you guys remember the short film called "Cipher in the Snow"? You should mention it on your podcast.

How cool is this... (on my way to Elko, Nevada) I drank an Evolution Ale at the Salt Lake City Airport over at the Pub in the E gate section. The same company makes a Polygamy Porter. I believe the original company is from Park City, Utah. I would like to have had time to stop and meet Chuck and Leighton at a pub to buy them a brew or 10. Better planning on my part next time.... or maybe if I pray to skydaddy.... lol

I feel like I am stalking Irreligiosophy, though, to be honest, I was not aware they had a group here on Atheist Nexus.

I though he was just too busy beating Thai children. Is that a euphemism?

Leighton is both too lazy and too stupid to use the internets.

So I see see Chuck here as the creator of this forum. What happened to Leighton?

I listen to a lot of great podcasts out of .au. Richard Saunders is was on my favorite skeptics. I, too, am an origamist. Uh oh, now some skunk dick will tell Chuck and Leighton I am cheating on them with Richard and I will be forever banned (again) from their podcast.

It's been almost a full day, and none of them have responded. I'm hoping that's the end of it, and they have bowed to my superior sophistry. ;-)

It's weird, but I never had the typical reaction to atheists when I was a believer. Oh sure, they were headed for hell, but I didn't presume to know or understand the reasons *why* they didn't believe. I didn't auto-dismiss them or hate their existe…

Thanks for the link. John Dominic Crossan said, "The problem [with the Testamonium Flavianum] is that Josephus' account is too good to be true, too confessional to be impartial, too Christian to be Jewish."
