PodCastAwards Announcer Fail

I ripped this from the PodCastAwards feed. Even though we lost (probably lost big!), I consider Cochrane's complete failure to pronounce our name a small victory.

Absolutely my favorite podcast. So sad that Leightons egg-headedness finally over flowed into your relationship.

All the best for the future.

Thanks for sharing your experiences and scholarship.  This is one of the few podcasts I regularly go back to old episodes and listen to again, there is so much info I can't absorb it all on one listening.  Please consider using the site as a blog to continue updating us as fans, and maybe restoring the donate link.  Don't think of it as taking money for no new content, think of it as allowing us cheap bastards to finally thank you properly.

Well, thank you from the bottom of my heart for spending time with your listeners.  You made a difference.  If it makes you feel any better, we an arrange to have Leighton kidnapped and sold as a sex slave to recoup your losses.

I announced it on the website and in the podcast feed, but I should probably announce it here too: Irreligiosophy is finished. Short story: I'm tired and need to spend some quality time with my family, and Leighton is a dick.

Thanks to everyone who shared in our little corner of the atheist podcast universe.

oh here it is.  Damn!  THis was my favorite podcast, by far!

"109: It Is Finished

IrreligiosophyEpisode 109 will be the last Irreligiosophy episode. I’m tired, the business failed (spectacularly), Leighton quit midstream and despite his many promises to pay his share, left me holding the bag for all of the debts we incurred. So I’ll be very busy over the next two to three years working hard to pay those back."

more on their

webpage.

Very sad to see this podcast shut down & go away.  I learned a heck-of-a-lot about Mormonism that I otherwise would not have bothered to go learn on myo own.  Will really miss these guys if Romney actually becomes our next president.

Even though irreligiosphy is not about being an exMormon, there's an element of  that and the concept of Mormonism often comes up.  This series is great - basically the counter to "Im a Mormon" series.  Very touching.

I just re-listened to the 10 commandments episode.  That's really a good episode.
