Hi! I am INFP but closely bordering INTP, once a test placed me here mainly. I can live with both and proudly wear the other three letters.

I'm strongly "NT", moderately "I", and very slightly "P".  In high school, when I first tried Myers- Briggs, I was fairly strongly "I" and moderately "J"... must have mellowed with age!

From what I gather about Myers-Briggs, various 2-letter combinations form the core personality traits... for example, most NT's are much alike, even the extraverts.

First took the MBTI test around age 14. Taken it several times and in several forms since then. Especially being Asperger's, it is a fantastic tool for those of us who 'read' other people via alternative means.

I'm wildly strong on the I and the T. Depending on which test I take and when I take it, I sometimes come out INTJ, but when I read the descriptions, I'm INTP all the way.

I was not previously aware of the MBTI but I just took the test and I am apparently an INTP personality type.

OK the test I just took gives me

# distinctively expressed introvert
# moderately expressed intuitive personality
# moderately expressed thinking personality
# moderately expressed perceiving personality

I am guessing that if I took a different test I would show up with a stronger thinking personality type. And maybe less of an introvert score.
