Rationality is given short shrift by people who either have their own greedy agendas at heart or cannot bear to be separated from a belief which has been with them practically from the cradle.  Reason is inconvenient to them because it interferes with their IRRATIONALITY.

Worst of all, THEY are in the MAJORITY.

And yet we persist.  Sometimes I wonder which ones are the sane ones...

I think I'm smarter than I really am. All other people think I'm dumber than I really am. Except my mother, who claims I'm smart but thinks otherwise. Proof enough that people aren't concerned with reality. And what's an elusive reality good for? Nothing. Reality isn't real. There's no reality. Only bias.
