Atheists, agnostics, secularist, skeptics, humanists, freethinkers, brights, and unbelievers of all kinds united to say "AS IF!"

 

For many years I have read on various forums and I have heard over and over many people, including myself, wishing that there was an Atheist group in the Idaho Falls area.

 

Well now there is!  Introducing AS-IF, Atheist Society of Idaho Falls.  But in order to make this successful we need all you heathens in Idaho Falls and the surrounding areas to participate.  Please contact us at AtheistSocietyIF@cableone.net.

 

Please include your name and email address so we can contact you with upcoming events.  Optionally you can include your phone number and mailing address as well.

There are some Atheist groups in the Boise area.  May I suggest that since our small group is spread out all over the state, that we use this forum to show links from our readings and comment on any Idaho groups, events, and ideas that we may individually have.

 

I did find myself laughing a bit at this article, and as I live in a household of 3 of us, we talk about Hank often.

maybe you Boise folk could hold an event in Banks or Garden Valley, so we could attend, there are at least 3 of us up here and we would love to come chat, and I suspect some folk would love to get out of the city sometimes. We would even be happy to host an event here in Garden Valley.

Wow, I didn't realize we had anything going on in Caldwell/Nampa. I have only been to a few Humanist meeting in down town Boise that are held monthly. Have any of you checked out the HOI (Humanists of Idaho)? Seems to be a pretty good group that does a lot with the Secular Student Alliance at BSU and the Atheists of Idaho group. I have been considering starting something up here in Meridian, but need to do some more research. Take care.
