Trying to gather up the locals...
If you live in the Humboldt or other Nor-Cal area, or have ties to the North Coast though living elsewhere, this is the group for you. My ultimate goal is to start a real-life meeting group for our area, and I figure that the internet and the colleges are the best places to start. If you know any other local atheists that haven't found Atheist Nexus, or have an account already, please direct them here. I know there are quite a few locally!

I saw this in the Times-Standard and thought it might be of interest. "Atheism Advocate Lectures on the "Folly of Faith." It is part of an HSU Philosophy Forum "Science and Spirituality: Falling Awake to Diversity"(?!) and is open to the public. The flyer is here.
