Humanists are ready to address one of the most intriguing but controversial topics in the history of humanity - SEX!
Join us on August 3-5 as humanists challenge the taboos, myths and prohibitions surrounding human sexuality! Sex and related issues should not be so controversial but have been made so by the repressive mores and taboos of ancient cultures. It is time to take back the rights to our sexuality and sexual equality.
This year the Canadian Humanist Conference will be held in cosmopolitan downtown Montreal at the very elegant Hilton Bonaventure Hotel. The conference is being held around the IHEU General Assembly so many representatives from member organizations around the globe will be present. It will be co-hosted by Humanist Canada (HC), The Quebec Humanist Association (AHQ), the Quebec Secular Movement (MLQ) and the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU).
The conference theme, Sex and Secularism is sure to attract attention. Notable humanists from around the world will bring their tolerant and liberal attitudes towards sex to the lectern. Topics will range from Humanist sexuality, to LGBT issues, reproductive rights and gender equality. Be part of the action and see the events unfold in person. Come to beautiful and exciting Montreal, August 3-5, 2012!
