It seems that saving animal species from extinction costs land owners and businesses money. Why bother? Just wipe them all out, and save their DNA. We can clone some later, if we want to. What shocking arrogance!

That was really stupid. He ignores the costs of storing DNA, and the fact that animals are not automatons that can just be cloned and released. Animals have culture, we know this now, and skills such as hunting and tool use is passed down generation to generation. This guy is clueless.
