Thanks for the tip Jeff. I live in a small town north west of Toronto so it's unlikely they'll have a good collection but I'll go and take a look. One never knows! Lol.

You know I use Limewire, well Frostwire, I have a Mac, but some of the best music I've been able to get was from the Phoenix, Arizona library. They allow 10 cd's to be checked out at a time and their collection is outstanding so you might try the local library where you live. The Minneapolis library where we now live isn't as good but they did have a few good cd's. I just copy them into iTunes. The Phoenix library probably had somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 cd's that I found that I wanted and I checked them out over several months

Thanks for the link too. I have that site bookmarked already. It's terrific! I'm very into music too :-) particularly from that era but I really like some of the stuff my kids listened to when they were in their teens and living at home.

That's an impressive collection. I've picked up some great stuff from Youtube and Limewire.

Hey there's a really cool site HERE that has a music player so you can listen to the music they have and they have a huge inventory of older music, new as well, but they have old Filmore concerts and really cool live stuff. Great web site, Wolfgangs Vault.

I do, music is extremely important to me and I actually have this song in iTunes by Merrilee Rush, Abba, Anne Murray, Juice Newton, Nina Simone, Olivia Newton-John, The Pretenders and Skeeter Davis. Guess you might say I like it, huh? I have over 11,000 songs, just about everything ever recorded that was in the least but popular during the 60s and 70s.

Jeff. I guess it's just a matter of perspective. That's really my point. I think it's wonderful that you've found what makes you happy.
