Hello all,

I have just joined the group and I wanted to say thank you for starting it. I am a mother to 2 yo twin daughters. I have been educating them since birth, and I am going to home school them so it is very nice to find a resource of other atheist home schoolers! looking forward to discussing with you all.

@ Yvette:

If things are difficult in the beginning, then it may indicate you need to take a few weeks to adjust... not only to a schooling schedule, but also to give your son time to get used to no longer being on medications.
Keep us informed, and feel free to ask questions... may not have the answers, but someone here might! ;]

It is similar here in Colorado. There are religious homeschool groups everywhere you look, but no secular ones... it seems as though the main reason people around here homeschool is purely for religious reasons.
Yes, I know how you feel, it is lonely here too.

I hope every one is doing well with their homeschooling. I am having connection problems and probably won't be around much until things are resolved. In the mean time, please feel free to chat amongst yourselves and I will get caught up as soon as I can. :0)

I am very happy to see that Cassie has set up a HS group also, I will pop over and join in a moment! When I created this group then I had not found any HS groups available... I guess that we 'suddenly had a need. This is crazy cool!

Heh. I just searched "groups", and found a third group that seems to be older than the latest two. Three groups merged into one... think of the possibilities!
