This article talks about heart health, and says that exercise will not counteract the bad effects of eating wrong, and also that too much exercise is as bad for the heart, as not exercising at all:

http://news.discovery.com/human/health/how-you-can-be-fit-but-not-h...

However, the part that annoyed me is that many doctors at the American Heart Association meeting last year when researchers held a seminar to discuss the new findings, feared that the public would get the wrong message about exercise.

If someone is stupid enough to get the wrong message in such a simple finding, then I think perhaps we would be better off without them.

That was so funny ...

As a sometime mini Schwarzenegger myself, I take umbrage at the gorilla comments :)

That's it ! If someone doesn't tell me who the drugged gorilla is, I'm going to go ape-shit !

I don't want to know, Napoleon, I hate the type. And the dog doesn't seem to like it too.

Who's the drugged out gorilla holding the dog in the group mascot ?

No, Spud, I agree with your assessment of the gross avatar. And I'm not envious! You can be healthy and not look like that.

Health & Fitness is a good subject, but I'm always turned-off by the muscle-man avatar.  In the first place, he appears to be badly sunburned, the opposite of healthy.  Even a tan is not healthy.

The second problem is his muscles are gross.  Way over the top.  I suspect that is also not healthy.

Well, I suspect I'm now going to get beaten about the head & shoulders with a wet noodle for my heresy.
