Come on in, pull up a chair!

Picture yourself spending some time with congenial friends, sharing your lives and pictures from your cell phones." They're curious about that cool game, song, movie, camping trip, art show, or other event that fascinated you. You talk about all kinds of stuff, poetry, styles, personal achievements, relationships, and bad days. You can share your inner child, and laugh together. They sympathetically listen to your feelings about serious topics like politics or climate change, even when they don't agree.

Personal validation comes from paying attention to one another, giving more than you get. Everyone respects you and themselves, despite our amazing range of personal tastes and interests. They'll tell you they don't agree with an idea or behavior without implying you're a bad person or somehow deficient. It's an "I'm OK, You're OK" kind of fellowship, where nobody tries to make himself look better by picking on somebody else.

Nobody here is into mind games. A discussion started with a loaded guilt-throwing question will be deleted.

This group is not intended to compete with other groups on topics they cover but to "fill in the cracks." Whenever a discussion dwells at length on a topic for which there's an existing group, we urge you to provide members a link to that group to continue along their tangent.

A comment is a shout-out, which will get lost in a few days, because the comment wall is just a random stack.

Please start a discussion to share stories, photos, and videos. Replies will pop up in your "latest activity" and a conversation can develop from the feelings and thoughts you contributed. Groups are built on discussions.

This was on the news & the place is close to my daughter's city.....

It’s not something you see everyday.

An inquisitive and friendly deer decided to make a new friend on Wednesday afternoon, much to the delight of the teenager’s mother.

Maegan Higgins was sitting on a Vernon beach with her teenage son, Miles, when a deer appeared and started rubbing its head around Miles’s head and body.

She said she couldn’t believe what she was seeing.

The deer continued to follow them for a while and Higgins said it was never aggressive towards them.

We have reached out to the Wildlife Rescue Association of B.C. to ask them what this behaviour means.

My husband and I are sitting in our backyard with our Labradork Molly. It's such a nice evening! Our cat Dora is yelling at us from the kitchen window that she wants to come outside too! No such luck, she's an indoor cat. :)

Well Joan, I sleep whenever I can, not by what time it is, I keep a humidifier on my bedside table for my nose/throat, & I keep saying that I keep the skin moisturizer makers in business.....hahahaha!!!!

Risk & Trivia were good games too.

That's cool Carl!  We (my husband, kids, and I) usually play Aggravation or Scrabble.  The Aggravation game board is the same board we had from the 70's!  The box died a  long time ago though, lol.

Patricia, I am very sorry to learn of your continued side effects of extremely dry skin & mucous membranes, terrible insomnia and others. Developing coping strategies for these must be frustrating.

Being so low on energy is a new things for me. So far, my best coping comes from filling my awake time with reading interesting articles, listening to debates and critiquing so-called intelligent design. The hours pass quickly and I am absorbed in it, forgetting that my weeds grow to giants and star dust gets thicker all over my house.
Thankfully, I have such great support from my family, they pick up all the loose ends for me.

O enjoy reading the greetings from each one of you and know I have a "cloud of support" from many places. Thanks.

Carl, I very much appreciate your thinking of me and your gift of Monet's Water Lilies! It evokes a real refreshing and restoring feeling in me. Thank you.

Cute squirrel, Ruth.  They're so much fun to watch.

Mindy, I also wanted to chime in on board games.  I've always been a big fan of board games.  So has my family.  We still get together for "game nights" and enjoy a meal followed by a rousing board game, dominoes, or cards at the dinning room table.

Carl, Monet is my favorite. :)

Ruth, I love the casual squirrel. lol.

Have a good day everyone.  My mom is taking "the kids" and I out for breakfast.  Yum!
