Come on in, pull up a chair!

Picture yourself spending some time with congenial friends, sharing your lives and pictures from your cell phones." They're curious about that cool game, song, movie, camping trip, art show, or other event that fascinated you. You talk about all kinds of stuff, poetry, styles, personal achievements, relationships, and bad days. You can share your inner child, and laugh together. They sympathetically listen to your feelings about serious topics like politics or climate change, even when they don't agree.

Personal validation comes from paying attention to one another, giving more than you get. Everyone respects you and themselves, despite our amazing range of personal tastes and interests. They'll tell you they don't agree with an idea or behavior without implying you're a bad person or somehow deficient. It's an "I'm OK, You're OK" kind of fellowship, where nobody tries to make himself look better by picking on somebody else.

Nobody here is into mind games. A discussion started with a loaded guilt-throwing question will be deleted.

This group is not intended to compete with other groups on topics they cover but to "fill in the cracks." Whenever a discussion dwells at length on a topic for which there's an existing group, we urge you to provide members a link to that group to continue along their tangent.

A comment is a shout-out, which will get lost in a few days, because the comment wall is just a random stack.

Please start a discussion to share stories, photos, and videos. Replies will pop up in your "latest activity" and a conversation can develop from the feelings and thoughts you contributed. Groups are built on discussions.

Felaine, funny video clip; did he play tricks when you were there?

Patricia, your scooter looks so cool and a handy thing to be able to use. That cat is an amazing animal with a sweet face.

Mindy, I find it bitter/sweet to go back to former homes of loved ones. Everything changes, yet I can sometimes see remnants of former memories. Your cat and face in the window evokes memories as well. I would be worrying as well with a loved one on wet or icy roads.

Love the cat photo, Mindy.  Beautiful, cute, artistic, introspective.  It's a fantastic picture on several different levels.

Cool Chris!  Me too!  I just wish they'd let me hug them more! lol.  My daughter has been gone for 2 days, and I can tell her cat Lucy really misses her.

Felaine, I found that picture from a Facebook page called Crazy Cat Ladies! :)  I thought it was a really neat photo!

I love that picture, Mindy! Almost as if I see my younger self, and yes, I loved cats from the moment I met one when I was three.

I hope you continue to win against your bout with colitis Patricia! I can understand that about you not wanting to see or hear about your house again after you move from it Felaine.  That would be hard.  Sometimes I drive past my grandparents old house and the whole neighborhood is so foreign to me.  In my memory I know all the people who live there, the house looked so different, etc.  I don't know why I do that to myself.  Like I'm looking for SOME sign of them, and there is nothing and no one from when they lived there.

It's bright and sunny here today, but lots and lots of snow all over.  My daughter has to drive home from Central Illinois, but if they are getting sleet or ice she will have to spend the night there again.

My husband is on vacation this week.  I have a honey-do list for him!

That's hilarious Carl.....I WANT ONE!!!!

I use a mobility scooter to get around from about March to November, & as long as we don't have snow, I can sometimes get into December. Would that be an option Felaine?

Oh the ferry service is always in the news with high & climbing ticket prices regularly a hot issue.
