Come on in, pull up a chair!

Picture yourself spending some time with congenial friends, sharing your lives and pictures from your cell phones." They're curious about that cool game, song, movie, camping trip, art show, or other event that fascinated you. You talk about all kinds of stuff, poetry, styles, personal achievements, relationships, and bad days. You can share your inner child, and laugh together. They sympathetically listen to your feelings about serious topics like politics or climate change, even when they don't agree.

Personal validation comes from paying attention to one another, giving more than you get. Everyone respects you and themselves, despite our amazing range of personal tastes and interests. They'll tell you they don't agree with an idea or behavior without implying you're a bad person or somehow deficient. It's an "I'm OK, You're OK" kind of fellowship, where nobody tries to make himself look better by picking on somebody else.

Nobody here is into mind games. A discussion started with a loaded guilt-throwing question will be deleted.

This group is not intended to compete with other groups on topics they cover but to "fill in the cracks." Whenever a discussion dwells at length on a topic for which there's an existing group, we urge you to provide members a link to that group to continue along their tangent.

A comment is a shout-out, which will get lost in a few days, because the comment wall is just a random stack.

Please start a discussion to share stories, photos, and videos. Replies will pop up in your "latest activity" and a conversation can develop from the feelings and thoughts you contributed. Groups are built on discussions.

Melinda! Your insurance doesn't pay for yearly mammograms? That is outrageous! How many women don't have that test simply because they don't have the money. Prevention is key! In my mother and grandmothers' day they didn't know they had cancer until it had grown to a point where successfully treating it was problematic! Do you know others on the same plan? I wonder if they would be willing and able to work together to get that changed.
I wonder if that is true for testicular cancer?
OH DO MAKE A NOISE!

The two hamsters I've had in the past were named Molly and Miles.

Melinda, I always give my pets people names because I consider them to be members of the family.

Ian, I'm so sorry for your troubles.  Two people to be worried about at the same time.  Life can be so hard!

Joseph, your cat sounds great!  I am looking forward to seeing your pictures! I love the name Buddy for a cat!  Mine are Dale, Lula, and Dora! lol!  My son and I have a name picked-out for the next one~ Edna.  We don't know why, we just picked it! ha ha ha

Joan, you are right!  We ARE a cozy little family!  You DO have a cloud of friends around you from all over who care about you and think of you and it's great that technology can be so comforting!  We would not all have met before the internet era!

Hugs to all of you~ Melinda

Steph, I am glad you were able to post "Conservative Christian Facebook Posts". I was unable to. I don't know if it is my computer, or what. There are just some pictures I either can't access or send.
