Picture yourself spending some time with congenial friends, sharing your lives and pictures from your cell phones." They're curious about that cool game, song, movie, camping trip, art show, or other event that fascinated you. You talk about all kinds of stuff, poetry, styles, personal achievements, relationships, and bad days. You can share your inner child, and laugh together. They sympathetically listen to your feelings about serious topics like politics or climate change, even when they don't agree.
Personal validation comes from paying attention to one another, giving more than you get. Everyone respects you and themselves, despite our amazing range of personal tastes and interests. They'll tell you they don't agree with an idea or behavior without implying you're a bad person or somehow deficient. It's an "I'm OK, You're OK" kind of fellowship, where nobody tries to make himself look better by picking on somebody else.
Nobody here is into mind games. A discussion started with a loaded guilt-throwing question will be deleted.
This group is not intended to compete with other groups on topics they cover but to "fill in the cracks." Whenever a discussion dwells at length on a topic for which there's an existing group, we urge you to provide members a link to that group to continue along their tangent.
A comment is a shout-out, which will get lost in a few days, because the comment wall is just a random stack.
Please start a discussion to share stories, photos, and videos. Replies will pop up in your "latest activity" and a conversation can develop from the feelings and thoughts you contributed. Groups are built on discussions.

Comment by sk8eycat on December 12, 2012 at 5:32pm I thought the Aztec "end of the world" was supposed to be Dec. 21st...the Solstice.
In the meantime I LOVE pictures of cats and horses! There does seem to be a lot of love between the two species.... Too bad you can't say the same for humans and different ethnic groups.
Comment by Ruth Anthony-Gardner on December 12, 2012 at 5:19pm I was feeling depressed, because so few people viewed my video. Then Bradley Dribble put it in his blog. Horray! Now I don't feel 100% useless.
Comment by The Flying Atheist on December 12, 2012 at 1:37pm Here's a bit of irony. Just a few days ago several of us on here were talking smack about Facebook (Fakebook, Flakebook, etc.)
Here's a list from Glassdoor.com of their "Employees' Choice Awards" for the top 50 "Best Places to Work." Number one on the list? Facebook. Take that, all you haters! lol
And I have to admit, I was a little surprised to see Bain & Company come in at number four. Who would have thought that taking over struggling companies, dismantling them, and sending those jobs overseas would be such a pleasure.

Comment by Idaho Spud on December 12, 2012 at 11:23am Steph, the wrongly assembled cat is funny, and the cat with the knitted had had me laughing much. Thanks.
Comment by Idaho Spud on December 12, 2012 at 11:17am Sk8eycat, you can run, but you can't hide. God will find you and smack you down for ending a sentence with a proposition :) BTW, may I call you skycat? I have a hard time remembering how to spell sk8eycat.
Comment by Idaho Spud on December 12, 2012 at 11:13am Steph, the ear boop is cute. Saving it.
Comment by Idaho Spud on December 12, 2012 at 11:11am I was going to make a comment at 12 noon and 12 minutes and 12 seconds, but I'll probably be at the library at that time. Just thought it would be fun to write 12/12/12 12:12:12
