Picture yourself spending some time with congenial friends, sharing your lives and pictures from your cell phones." They're curious about that cool game, song, movie, camping trip, art show, or other event that fascinated you. You talk about all kinds of stuff, poetry, styles, personal achievements, relationships, and bad days. You can share your inner child, and laugh together. They sympathetically listen to your feelings about serious topics like politics or climate change, even when they don't agree.
Personal validation comes from paying attention to one another, giving more than you get. Everyone respects you and themselves, despite our amazing range of personal tastes and interests. They'll tell you they don't agree with an idea or behavior without implying you're a bad person or somehow deficient. It's an "I'm OK, You're OK" kind of fellowship, where nobody tries to make himself look better by picking on somebody else.
Nobody here is into mind games. A discussion started with a loaded guilt-throwing question will be deleted.
This group is not intended to compete with other groups on topics they cover but to "fill in the cracks." Whenever a discussion dwells at length on a topic for which there's an existing group, we urge you to provide members a link to that group to continue along their tangent.
A comment is a shout-out, which will get lost in a few days, because the comment wall is just a random stack.
Please start a discussion to share stories, photos, and videos. Replies will pop up in your "latest activity" and a conversation can develop from the feelings and thoughts you contributed. Groups are built on discussions.

Comment by Tony Carroll on May 10, 2012 at 11:31pm Hey, did anybody hear that Michelle Bachman now has dual citizenship? She recently became a Swiss citizen, as her husband is Swiss. She said her children were interested in doing it, so they did it as a family. I just want to say to Switzerland, what the hell were you thinking? She,s your problem now, no take backs.
Comment by Ruth Anthony-Gardner on May 10, 2012 at 2:15pm Great picture and caption, Roz and Russ! And it's good to hear from you.

Comment by Ian Mason on May 10, 2012 at 4:47am Sounds lovely. My daughter went snorkeling at the GB Reef and still thinks it was the greatest experience of her life. Fair winds and happiness to you.
Comment by Sail R's - Roz and Russ Worrall on May 10, 2012 at 3:50am Sailing is great Ian. Thanks for asking. We are leaving Brisbane area on Saturday and sailing up to the Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday Islands in two days. We'll be in Australia waters until 2013 before heading to Indonesia. Comment by sk8eycat on May 10, 2012 at 3:20am Steph, I probably will start a discussion about cat fiction in a day or two; I had a typing and printing job that I had to finish tonight so it could go out in tomorrow's snail mail, and I have a feeling that the Pet Press ads are going to start coming in next week...so I'll try to get my act together by this weekend.
The only cat warrior books I've read have been Mark Rogers' "Samurai Cat" series, and I got those mostly for his artwork. Oh, I know about Larry Niven's series about the Kzin, but I've never read any.
So many books, so little time....
Comment by Ian Mason on May 10, 2012 at 3:19am Nice pic. How's the sailing going?
