just came back to california from Maui and saw my first really stupid "christer" sign while on the island...it was in high country and read..."stop thinking and start praying"... hand written and on the side of a little mountain, store front homemade church.

whats up with all the churches?!?!

it reminds me of a really bad east oakland.  ;)

NUTTY...NUTTTY...NUTTY..... and it aint MAC nuts.

It's spring cleaning time, and there are lots of new happenings at HSS. We've had several successful monthly meetings, and are exploring new ways to attract and retain members. Check out our new welcome page at http://secularhawaii.org/welcome.htm . We have implemented some advertising on Facebook and Google with moderate initial success. A new newsletter should be out by Friday. Get on the meetup group mailing list or check the secularhawaii.org website to receive/read it when it arrives.

Hey gang,

...just wanted to put this out there..... The mormon temple in laie is having a public open house from now til Nov 13. If anyone is interested in actually being able to step foot in this "sacred" place to poke around a bit, now's your chance. It should be interesting to say the least.
