Hi gang, I was recently on the air on the Wretched Radio Show, hosted by Todd Friel. They will be replaying the 2 hour show all weekend on their website. If you have time, check it out. When you get to the site, just click on 'Listen up' and the media player pops right up. Unfortunately, they just loop the show all weekend so you cant go right to my call, but this stuff is worth hearing.

The show focused on creationism and had an 'expert', Paul Taylor, in to take calls. He was pretty dense. I am not completely happy with my call, as I was a little nervous and inarticulate, but I think I did present him with some questions that I dont think he did the best job of answering. Then, he started telling me why I believe what I believe.

Some are confused as to why I might want to listen to or engage with these people, but I think it is important to actually know the arguments that they bring forth so that we can systematically and logically break them down, and it is important for those who might be listening, who may be open to logic, to hear some of our arguments. After all, many of us used to be believers and are no longer partly because we heard the arguments that demonstrate that our beliefs were not supported by logic or reason or facts.

If you show it on Livestream I'd watch. That said, the biggest debate for me is the Hitchens/Craig debate, because I have yet to find a full version on youtube.

I actually have Collision downloaded, but I'm on the wrong island and all. It's really not that great. I've heard these two argue before enough. Doug Wilson doesn't really have much interesting to say, even as far as Christian apologists go.

If people want, I can stream it online sometime in the near future, and everyone who wanted to could watch it from within the same livestream room, and chat while it's going on.

Hey Jonathan, congrats on the article! I' also like to reach out to all the neighbor island members and invite them to join our meetup group (http://www.meetup.com/Hawaii-Atheists/) as well.
