Hey BlackRabbit, welcome! So you’re moving to the mainland, exciting, I hope you have a lot of great success wherever your journey takes you. At least you can still be a virtual island girl here.

For the Oahu guys who want to get together sometime, I started another Discussion group “Hawaii Food and Drinks” so please check it out and add the restaurants and bars you guys like, this could help us figure out where we can get together.

Aloha CWM,

I'm in Kauai. Looks like that makes two of us.

I would be down to hang out, it's great to see that there are fellow atheists in Hawaii.

Two weeks from now is a good time frame for a get together for me as well, as long as it is on Oahu. I can't swing a trip to a neighbor island right now.

Wow! More new heathens, welcome Aruman, Sladjam, Mike, and CWM. I’m not sure how many of you guys are new to the islands like Ken? So I started a Discussion Group “Cool Hawaii Stuff” for everyone to post the cool stuff they know about here in Hawaii. Hopefully this will be helpful to you guys new to Hawaii and maybe even some of us old-timers will see something new too.

Aaron, your idea about getting together for drinks and talking story sounds great. I get off swing shift in about two weeks and then I’ll be on days for a month, so If you’re thinking about getting together sometime two weeks from now after work, please count me in.

***I meant 14 members. It's good to see atheists surfacing like this.

Well, it would be good to have a solid tally of where everyone lives. I'm in Honolulu, it's clear Richard's in Hilo, Calvin and Aaron are on Oahu as well I think.

We're at 10 members which is awesome.

Another Kauai person here!

I can't really afford to fly to any of the neighbor islands for beer and story-talking, but if any of you find yourselves in Hilo, drop me a line. And those of you who do get together, please let the rest of us know how it goes. As a result of your get-together, I'm sure there will be lots of topics that we can continue discussing here in our Nexus group.

Aloha Everyone,

I'm very glad to have found this group. Thanks again to Calvin for letting me know about it and inviting me to join.

It is comforting and reassuring to make contact with others in Hawaii who face the same issues I do. I look forward to the dialogue.

~Mike
