Karaoke is really popular here in Hawaii, most local bars have some kind of karaoke system set up. But a lot of people prefer to rent karaoke rooms for a more private experience. Here are the more popular places to rent rooms:

BYOB and food, good music selection, a bit more expensive than the other places. The walls could be thicker

BYOB and food, probably the least expensive, but the rooms are a bit small and not a big song selection.

Full Bar, nice rooms, but finding parking can be an adventure onto itself.

There's another Krazy Karaoke on Young and Keeaumoku Street. The music selection at this one's better and there are larger rooms. Still, you're always pressed for space because you can't go wrong with Karaoke.
