Comment by Sentient Biped on May 7, 2012 at 9:07pm Sandi, i LOVE Lemonboy! Haven't found any plants yet, and it's too late this year for seeds, so I might have to go without this year. What a beautiful harvest!
Comment by Joan Denoo on May 7, 2012 at 7:56pm Sandi, this is a beautiful harvest! What a treat to wander in your garden, such beautiful produce.
Comment by Sandi on May 7, 2012 at 5:36am Sentient, I would certainly be interested in seed sharing. I plan to keep tomato seeds that I have growing this year as well as what ever else I can get out of my garden.
It was also the first time I have eaten lemon boy and omg, what a foodgasm!. I have never tasted a tomato so awesome.
Comment by Sentient Biped on May 6, 2012 at 2:59pm Richard, edible landscaping is the best. It's also a great conversation starter. And by having all sorts of things, if one doesn't produce, there are still the others. My yard is a jungle of edibles. THe neighbors don't seem to mind, and often complement me on it.
Comment by Brother Richard on May 5, 2012 at 1:28pm This is a great idea! I have been trying to redo my yard into an "edible landscape." So, I pretty much only have (and need) veggies and fruit seeds, starts, or cuttings.
Comment by Annie Thomas on May 4, 2012 at 4:14pm I would be interested as well, though I'm not sure how much I'll have for next year (I planted a very limited garden this spring). I will have tons of beach sunflower seeds though, which I would be happy to share.
Comment by Joan Denoo on May 4, 2012 at 3:25pm I'm in on the seed saver share and will compile a list of seeds, non-hybridized, that I have to share.
Comment by Sentient Biped on May 3, 2012 at 12:31pm Any interest in starting an exchange list here for starts and seeds? I usually have too much of something or other. Some heirloom varieties, non genetically reformulated. Seeds are usually best sent in spring. Seeds can be cheaply mailed, hardwood cuttings work out well for that too (too late now for this year but we can plan). If I know now, I can plan on saving some seeds this summer and fall. I'll start a Discussion topic and if anyone is interested you can chime in.
Comment by Sentient Biped on May 3, 2012 at 11:24am TommyHenderson - I'll have to post a dogwood pic here for you. Mine is in full bloom now.
